Conspiracy? I think so...

Ok so I have told a few friends this and people seem to think I'm weird, but the world is a weird place so my theory could possibly be true! What is my theory you ask? Well it has to do with celebrities, drugs, and conspiracy. Here we go!
Ok so the past couple years there have been more and more celebrity deaths related to drug overdoses. Isn't it weird that they all seem to be dying of drugs (with the exception of people like Farrah Fawcett and Patrick Swayze)? The person I really want to focus on right now though is DJ AM aka Adam Goldstein. I bring this topic up because of the new show that is coming out on MTV next week called Gone Too Far where DJ AM goes to several drug addicted teens and tries to help them realize why drugs are bad and tries to help them better themselves.
OK. Does anyone else see how bizarre this whole concept is? DJ AM is telling kids "Drugs are bad mmmkay?" and then he dies of an overdose? WHAT?! This makes no sense!
Which brings me to my theory that there is a conspiracy going on in the celebrity world. All these celebs who seem to have these great lives are dying of strange drug overdoses for no apparent reason. Heath Ledger was a great happy guy, living with Michelle Williams and their daughter Matilda in awesome Brooklyn. Has this rediculously amazing career and then BAM. Dies of a drug overdose. Same thing with Michael Jackson. And now the same thing with DJ AM. No one else sees how weird this is? DJ AM was in an insane almost fatal plane crash with Travis Barker not too long ago and he suddenly dies of an overdose? Weird.
I know there are probably many other little pieces to these stories but I still maintain that there is a bizarre conspiracy out there killing off celebrities. And now this new show with DJ AM kind of just makes a mockery of the whole thing. How good could his help have been to those teens when weeks or months later he dies of drugs? It makes no sense to me.
But then again the world never does :)

WHERE HAS ALL THE FOOD GONE?!

So as most of you know or for those that do not know, eating is one of, if not my most favorite, thing to do in the whole world. I wish eating was my job. I would be so good at it. I just love food. Loving food is really hard especially for me because in my house we have my father who is the health food nut. Over the past few years my father has found more and more food that is bad for us, and less food that is good for us. I mean how many vegetables can one person really eat 24/7?
For people that read this and are my friends you experienced me being a vegetarian and that lasted like what... a month? Maybe? Needless to say it was very short lived because you cant just eat vegetables all the damn time. Not only is it hard but its pretty boring and not as tasty as eating other stuff...like meat. This brings me to my point of today's blog.
If anyone read the New York Times this weekend you might have found this fantastic article that basically says it is not OK to eat hamburgers and ground beef anymore because people are dying and getting sick from E Coli which is found in ground beef.
Ok so basically this article has crushed all of my dreams forever. This is because hamburgers, more specifically cheese burgers, are my most favorite thing in the entire universe to eat. I have a necklace with a hamburger on it. That is pure love people. But now "theyre" (I put it in quotations because I feel like people always mention 'they' and its so vague...) saying that its terrible to eat hamburger meat! WHAT AM I GOING TO DO?!
In my household this actually wont be a huge problem because my health nut father only buys organic food and meat nowadays. This means he buys chickens that were raised organically and they eat only food they're supposed to eat, they're not over fed, and they are happy running around chickens at a farm on the Island somewhere until they are killed for me to eat. Organic chicken also means that they look like small anorexic birds as opposed to the giant meaty ones everyone else buys in the supermarket. So since Papa Tobe gets organic chicken, you can bet he gets organic beef too! This just means that the cows graze in happy pastures and eat only grass and no chemicals or corn or bad stuff.
My real concern is what happens when I go out into the world and want to order a hamburger? Will I remember that it might kill me to do so? Or will I risk going into seizures to taste a delicious cheese burger? This whole danger label that has been put on beef is causing a lot of anxiety for me. The most being that the world has now basically banned my most favorite food in the whole world. Whats next world? You want to start telling me that I cant eat rainbow cookies anymore because they cause cancer? You better not. I dare you. I DARE YOU.
So you guys can check out this crazy article here. Let me know what you think! See ya and Happy Monday :)
